Hey Mike!!
This [website you designed for me] is soooo awesome!!! It looks great and I love the way every page ties together... I've checked out a few other artists' web sites and this is just as good or better than the major label offerings!!!ÊI'm very excited about it and can't wait to put out a press release on it to all the newspapers and on my mailing list...on line and hard copies!!

Hello Michael,
I saw the write-up about you in Electronic Publishing, March 2000 issue. I wanted to say thanks for the mention of Eye Candy by offering you a snazzy
Alien Skin tee shirt and some other propaganda. If you're interested, just
let me know what size and where to ship the package.

Hi Mike,
Just saw your web site and it is great. I am glad that you are
doing so well. You certainly have progressed since taking photos of me with
that little Kodak Instamatic a quarter century ago.

Mike,
This is very cool.
The whole Retro Metro idea is just a natural. One of those ideas simply waiting for the right guy with the right tool and the imagination to use it. It's a process that's so perfectly suited for the SpriteLayers routine, Deneba should make you their poster boy. Publish is, after all, a pretty darn high-profile forum to be waving the Canvas banner from.
Congratulations.

Mike,
I'm an editor at Publish magazine and ran across your Retro Metro work on the Deneba Web site. We do a short item in our news section of the magazine called
Art Show, and I would be interested in using your work for this. The item would show a piece of your work (I am especially fond of the [panoramic view of Nashville]) with a short description of how it was done (what your inspiration was, what tools you used) as well as where folks can go to see more of your work.

Mike,
I just had a look at your Retro Metro page after selecting the link from
MacCentral's article on Canvas. Great work, I love what you have done!
Mind you, when you say: "Next, the exact location where the older photos
were taken must be established, and a new photo taken from that very spot,
at approximately the same time of day." You are playing down just how
difficult it must be to get the perfect matches that you have achieved. I'm
very, very impressed.
Any way, well done!

Mike,
You've done an impressive job with the montages on your Retro
Metro pages. I'm very impressed with how you managed to get
the correct lens focal lengths in order to capture the same
perspective as in the older photos... Good work deserves good comment.

Mike,
I just finished browsing your website and I HAD to write to tell
you what a FABULOUS portfolio you have. I must say I was
shocked to see Union Station when I went to the web page, and then more landmarks from Nashville. You see, I was born in Nashville and grew up
there so all of the sites you chose were very familiar to me. I was so
impressed with your shots of some historic buildings in Nashville and I
just wanted to let you know that I couldn't stop until I went through
each "page" of your entire portfolio! Just wanted to say Thanks for the memories -- of home and
school. Your work is beautiful!!! I especially like the picture of the little boy scooping up stars.

To whom it may concern:
I have known Mike for about 13 years and I have always found him to be a
responsible, talented and mature individual. His work with a camera speaks
for itself. He has a natural ability and a certain knack when it comes to
photography.
He will be an asset to any organization that has the insight to bring him
on board. If this foundation had a need for a full-time photographer he
would be our official photographer.
If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact me.

To whom it may concern:
Mike Bedford worked for several years as both our campus photographer and an
instructor in mass communication here at Ambassador University. As our
photographer Mike was of tremendous help in our public relations efforts.
As a small university we have always had a small staff handling the institutional
advancement duties, so we were grateful for Mike's assistance with our
photography needs. We were fortunate to be able to call on someone whose work
was of such professional caliber, and to do so often on short notice. His
photojournalistic skills were most helpful in making our campus publications
and our home page on the World Wide Web both attractive and effective.
I am also aware of Mike's fine work for our campus newspaper and yearbook, both
published by the Communication Department. He supervised the student photography
staffs and set the tone for the consistantly high visual standards of both
publications.
I am happy to recommend Mike for his excellent photographic abilities. If I can
be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,

It is my distinct pleasure to provide this job recommendation for Mike Bedford.
Mike has worked with our organization for 12 years, in various capacities.
For the past three years he has served on the faculty of Ambassador University
as an instructor in photography and photographic applications. As the chairman
of our communication department, I can attest to his professionalism and
excellence as a teacher.
He has also served as the chief photographer for Ambassador University,
and the administrator of our photographic department and studios. Mike is
highly organized, responsible, and very dedicated in all that he does. He
has provided solid leadership in his responsibilities as a manager and an
instructor.
Besides his excellent work ethic, Mike has demonstrated the highest degree
of honesty and integrity in his professional and personal life. I am sad
to see him leave us, but happy to provide this recommendation for a very
fine young man. If I can answer any particular questions concerning his
employment with us, please do not hesitate to call.

To whom it may concern,
I have been acquainted with Mike Bedford for eight years and in this time
he has proven himself to be a well rounded and highly loyal employee of
Ambassador University. It is a pleasure to write this recommendation for
him.
Mike was under my direct supervision from 1988-90 as a student worker. In
addition to his responsibilities as photographer, he also completed our
advanced photography student certification program. For the last six years
he has continued, as principal photographer, to serve the university's photographic
needs as Publications Photo Editor. During the same period of time Mike
also taught the photography classes here at the university.
Mike has displayed a high degree of dependability and professionalism in
all aspects of his employment. His wide range of skills and abilities allows
him to be a tremendous support to the university as a whole.
I can recommend Mike with complete confidence and believe he would make
a fine addition to any company.
Most sincerely,

Mike Bedford provided the photography services for Ambassador University
as well as taught classes in both Photography and Communication for several
