Aurelon CoCo is a Mac-based plug-in for Adobe Photoshop enabling selective color correction. Current or old users of high-end Pre-press systems will immediately feel at home. Aurelon CoCo is not only for the professional to perform selective color corrections. It is simply the best and simplest way to do selective color correction. It even won a Seybold Editors Award in 1996 because of it breakthrough work in bringing high-end color correction tools to the desktop.

Aurelon CoCo stands for selective color corrections in the RGB, Lab, CMYK and MultiChannel modes. Aurelon CoCo is the smartest tool for dealing with standard jobs such as spot colors, bump plates, HiFi or jobs which will not be printed on a white substrate.

Aurelon CoCo works in a fundamentally different way than Photoshop. Colors are corrected in accordance to the relative distance to the source color. The range function keeps CoCo fully in control. Aurelon CoCo offers a very smooth transition from corrected colors to colors which have not been corrected. The result: retention of light and shadow parts, and a natural change of color. Aurelon CoCo gives a smoother result than Photoshop, especially when working in soft tones.

Not only RGB and CMYK, but also duo- or tritones and any extra channels created in Photoshop can be displayed in their printing colors. The display also shows you the individual separations as well as the combination of separations. The paper color function allows you to simulate what the image will look like when printed on a substrate other than white.

Aurelon CoCo makes use of Aurelon's revolutionary 'Ink Display Technology' (Digital Ink™). Digital Ink allows you to easily change the color in which the channels of an image are displayed. For example, let's say you don't want to print in CMYK but in magenta, yellow, black and Pantone 361. With the help of the Digital Ink technique the cyan channel can be displayed in this color, resulting in a realistic visual impression of how the printed result will look.

Digital Ink makes it possible to simulate both standard and special printing inks on your screen. This results in a pretty reliable softproof of images, of course within the limitations inherent to displaying printing ink on screen.

The Aurelon CoCo plug-in is compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS1 and CS2 on MacOSX 10.2.8 and newer.
