Cybia Alienator is a single plug-in for use with Photoshop-compatible host applications. It takes an alternative approach to color-modification effects by generating random combinations of many hidden variables to produce unusual and unpredictable results.

This is not aimed at users who require precise editing features due to the random nature of the filter, but for those who enjoy using experimental techniques in their work then it can prove a very handy tool. The controls may seem a bit confusing to begin with so it may take a while for you to get the hang of Alienator ... but that's half the fun!

You can randomize the settings automatically using the animate feature, or manually with the various single-click buttons if you prefer. There is also a "Tweak" mode which allows you to modify some of the more basic editing sliders manually for greater overall control over the final effect.
